Looking back on all of the post, this thread was pretty good until fanboy Doctor and fanboy Micky showed up. If the OP wasn't interested in a whipple then he would have stated that in post 9. Maybe attempt to read and actually understand what they are saying.

I personally think that the fanboys are upset that they mad ethe wrong choice. If you only want 630rwhp but making 700rwhp with the whipple. Just hook up your laptop and trn the power down 10%. You want to go crazy, just add some vp octanium and a smaller pulley and whipple has you covered; no need for a new tune. Taking it to the dealer, turn it down by 25%; no problem. What other tune/calibration can do that??? Only Whipple! Hell, Whipple flare device is the only way to recalibrate your speedo if you change your tire size or gears. I don't blame fanboys Doctor or Micky for being mad, I'm mad too. I kick myself everyday that I see the Whipple Flight Control threads.

Thanks jmeo! I wasn't bashing Roush. Just pointing out the competitive advantage that Whipple has with their tune. I believe that I stated somewhere how I wish that I had the whipple tune.

But, anytime that fanboy MikeD wants to line em up at the track, bring cash buddy. I would love to see want that phase 1 can do from my rear view.
Don't see how you can give any review of the Whipple tune and you don't even have it. What would a race prove, you have a custom tune and he has a stock Roush tune. This Whipple stuff really is annoying. Look at the drag times on this site. There are all different types of power adders running good times, not just Whipples.

Thanks for everyone who chimed in. I do a lot of research before I choose a product and appreciate all the info in the thread. I like the passion of the Whipple folks and appreciate all info. I did just ask about the roush because I have not seen any info on it however I love the internet and all that comes with it. At the end of the day I will pick what is right for me.
Thanks again. Now who has the best deals on a super charger?

Search is at the top towards the right. It works really well and you will be able to see results as I already have.

Anytime that you are ready. You have the auto, all you have to do is put it in D and mash the gas. Just bring cash and we will video it for everyone of your fanboys.

For ME I love the Whipple kit and the power and if I could get it backed up with a Whipple/Ford warranty equal to Roush that would have been on my top choices that or a beefcake special. I know they have a warranty but it's not the same as a Roush and that's why I chose it. Remember we all have Mustangs all have the same itch we should be picking on Camaro guys :-) goodnight guys

I honestly would like to see the Whipple guys post more real world results like track times. Not really interested in dyno sheets and sales pitches. If you hit the strip, please post results. I think that will sway people who are doing research more than anything else. Whipple setup looks great, not denying that, but there is more than one way to have fun and go fast.

The truth is this is more than enough power with phase 1 until other mods are done.
This should be a big consideration. What suspension upgrades are required, do you want to change gears, half shafts, tires etc. to get the power to the ground?
No matter which kit you like most will agree anything over 600 without upgrades will end in major scorching of rubber. Adding horsepower will only increase this.
With all that said Whipple is heading in a great direction to adjust these parameters with techoology.

This. With just phase 1 mine wallows like a pig coming out of corners. More BMR stuff this weekend and coilovers scheduled. I'll basically replace the IRS by the time I'm done. And yes, the NVH is getting noticeable. I'm also adding phase 2 which is probably stupid considering it only feels stable in a straight line.
