Is there anyone on here who bought a Roush supercharger and really regret it?? I thought I made a good choice with the Roush but since they are taking there sweet time with the other phases it really makes me upset. Now I'm being told that any warrinties bought from them will be voided with the other phases. I should of went with a whipple.

Not sure Roush has ever offered a warranty with Phase 2 or 3. Since you already have the Roush you would probably be better off taking it to Livernois or Alternative Auto and getting a more aggressive dyno tune since you are in Michigan.

I do believe it voids the original 3 yr/36k warranty, but not the Roush parts. I may be wrong, but I think that is the way it works.

I am very happy, the car has plenty of power as it is, and I'm glad they aren't rushing to market with the next upgrade. If we have it all now what's to look forward too ?

they're taking their time for a reason I would assume... I have a feeling the stage 2 kit will maintain the 3 year warranty. I think the stage 3 will be at your own risk. They just announced the kits are 50 state emissions legal. If they make the stage 2 kit emissions legal as well, that would really help sell more kits. No ragrets here.... No regrets...lol.

Haven't had mine for very long, so not in a big hurry to upgrade at this point.
Besides, snow(slow)birds are in town till April or May doddering about & cluttering the roads.
Hard to even maintain the posted limit around the county this time of year let alone let my inner hooligan out for a romp ;)

How much did u guys put down to the RW? I put down 540 at Alternative (dynojet) kind of disappointed especially forking over that kind of money to roush. I was thinking atleast 590-600 but what do I know. If they don't warrant the upgrades that will be very disappointing.

Didn't they advertise the Roush stage 1 kits to make ~625 bhp? Considering GTs stock were dynoing at 375 rwhp, 540 rwhp would put you right where they advertised.

I ended up selling mine. I had Ford install mine wrong. Long story short I fought Roush and Ford that something was wrong but they denied that nothing was wrong. I ended up finally figuring out that the intercooler pump was installed backwards heat soaking and throwing knock.

I never want to deal with Roush again after everything I went through and am adamant about it. I encourage people to seek other means of power.

Same here. Dealing with Roush was a royal PITA. I didn't appreciate paying to be their test mule. Ended up with a Whipple on my 2012 and now my 2015.

I'll tell you what it's been a process waited 4.5 months to get my car from the dealer then they tried going back on their promises they gave me in writing. Wish I would of did my due dillegence on this whole process definitely would of went a different route.

Thanks for the info btw, that's a shitty situation they put you in. I'm fighting with them right now. Everything is a process. Just not taking your money that comes easy lol

My car just got the Roush/Ford Racing supercharger a week ago. So far, I am not regretting it, but regret all depends on what your goal was. If you bought the Roush/Ford Racing supercharger wanting to have 800-horsepower, than you should have purchased the Whipple, as they have more headroom and options available already.

Roush / Ford Racing offer a nicely integrated look for the S550 Mustang. It is more powerful than 99.9% of all other cars on the road. My needs did not include drag or street racing, as my car is a daily driver that gets driven 2,000 miles every month. If I was interested in Drag/Street racing, I would want more power and gotten the Whipple, but then in that case, it would not be my daily driver either.

I am happy with mine. It pretty much lights the tires at will. I haven't even done the 670 free upgrade yet. I am still on the Zeros. It needs some near perfect conditions to hook and go.
