Roush GT Flash Pack, anyone ?

I was looking at this and was wondering if anyone in the group has any experience with there Flash Pack ?

Considering how good roush's TVS package tune is I can't imagine crazy awesome this tune is.

It's pretty good--you'll definitely notice a before and after difference, but it's no custom tune. It's a "safe" tune. Don't expect it to add gobs of horsepower like a custom e85 or 93 octane tune. It's designed around Ford's "safe Coyote operating parameters" so you're not going to get as much power out of it as you would from some of the aftermarket tuners around here who aren't restricted by the Coyote's "safety" limits. If you don't care about voiding your warranty I would go with a custom tune, otherwise the Roush is a decent enough canned one to make you feel like you didn't waste your money.

Sounds exactly like the Ford racing tune. I wonder if the Roush one firms up the shifting at WOT for the auto? The Ford racing did not at all.

It costs $495 and must be installed by a certified Ford technician (prob another $100). Says so in the PDF.

I don't want to speculate because everyone's situation is different, but whether or not you need to get the warranty is entirely dependent upon your dealership. I have a close relationship with mine and they are a Master Roush dealer, and they have always had my back with warranty issues. They flat out told me that an aftermarket tune would void my warranty, but have always covered Ford and Ford partner products, even things like headers (Roush) and tunes. I suspect most dealerships do not support their modding communities this strongly though.
