For sure! i'll do standing revs and a driving away acceleration :). I did do a couple of downshifts in my video from about 4k rpms. I also forgot to mention in the video that it does pop and crackle a little bit on decels especially when the car is warm :)
I enjoyed the video. It was good to hear the sound over many minutes. Much preferred to 30 secs. :headbang: Loved the GoPro on the trunk. Did I miss it or on the last part when you were driving and we were hearing/seeing the GoPro, I do not recall you ever accelerating. It seem like you were in stop and go traffic for a number of blocks then pulled into a parking space.

But your video is the only one that made my computer's sub woofer actually rumble. I thought to myself, he's got that GoPro turned onto SUPER bass! :eyebulge: Usually the audio from these is less base than real life... you got into subwoofer Hz there dude!

Dude GREAT vid. Thanks for pointing out the drone. I have to think about it now since I have 3.55 and my highway cruises are at 2.1k rpm.
2.1 is perfectly fine. 1.5/1.6k is where the drone is at :)

I'm having a little trouble understanding what you mean with "accelerating".? Do you mean having the go pro on the floor and the car stationary and revving it up? If that's the case, I promise ill do it today :)

Oh, I thought drone was a linear volume increase. So what you're saying at ~1.5 there's some particular tone that resonates in the cabin whereas 2.1 doesn't?

Yes sir. The drone is between 1.5 to 1.6 ish. After and before that, it's all good. Keep in mind it's not like the entire car rattles or something, it's just some resonance

By "I do not recall you ever accelerating.", I meant that it sounded like you were driving from zero to 20 mph (or whatever speed) numerous times but with a very soft throttle. Sounded (to me only maybe) like rpm's never went over say 2500 or something low. Like you were unable to get onto an open street and floor it (or accelerate hard) up to 50 mph or so due to traffic or 25 mph speed limits where you were at.

The above description was for the latter part of the video when the GoPro was on the trunk. When you had it inside, you did accelerate agresively (or semi) some times and we could here how that sounded inside the cabin (like 1:36 :It always makes me smile" !! :D).
At 10:30 sounds like a modest acceleration to maybe 3k RPM??
At 11:35 sounds like a modest acceleration to maybe 3.5k RPM?? Then a couple of slow free revs to maybe 4k RPM??

Very good video and I very much appreciate the time to make and post. These are just what I am hearing and maybe misinterpreting.
(and BTW, your English is good for a first language, let alone a 4th!!)

FireHive Thanks for the video! Great review! Awesome that you love the results. So far picking an exhaust was the hardest part... A lot of money and no idea what it would sound like :)

Thanks to all three of you reporting on your exhaust pioneering! I for one very much appreciate you guys taking the plunge and reporting how it is turning out. Russian, when I see you at a meetup after I get my car, I owe you a beer!

Gotcha. I was shifting at around 4500k when go pro was on bumper a couple of times. I'll make sure to get a WOT with go pro on bumper and free revs with go pro on floor and car stationary. I have time tomorrow so i should be able to do it :)

I know man, it's hard trowing yourself into the unknown. Good thing we are the brave ones ( or reckless, depends how you want to see it :D:D)

I just installed the roush and it sounds good. like others have said, its got a slight drone around 1.5 to 1.8ish ..... on the highway 2k-2.1k the drone almost completely fades off.
