I have it, and it is very loud. It might pass with the factory resonator, but not by much.

If you do a X-pipe/resonator delete like I did, forget about it. I would have to say it is probably 105-110db. It literally sounds like it is a straight pipe.

I added a pair of dynomax 12" bullets after the "x" and before the roush's, and it is still pretty loud, but I think if you lay off the gas/upshift soon, you could probably get by CHP with maybe an eyebrow-raise, but not an issue as long as you were otherwise obeying the law.

I can't give you an actual db level, because I don't have a calibrated mic.

I'll also throw in my plug here for the post I did on AB390 since our assembly meets tomorrow on the issue to return the law to issuing "fix it tickets" ($25) opposed to normal citations ($197+) for exhausts that police officers deem (Without measuring equipment) excessive. It doesn't change the 95 decibel output, but it does change the process if you are cited for it (Basically it changes it back to the way it was pre-2019).

Roush axleback with stock resonator. @ 2500 rpms I am at 74 db. Reved to 3500 it showed 88 db. Above 5000 I was at 101db.

I got state ref'd a couple months ago. Im running the magnaflow resonated x pipe and legato axlebacks (very similar to magnaflow) and I was about 5 decibals above. My set up is really not that loud. Basically any aftermarket muffler is gonna be above the decibal level.

With 5 db over, what was the outcome?

Since I didn’t pass it, the infraction fine was 189. I can’t remember the violation but it was basically only for loud exhaust (nothing illegal or not carb). The best part though is even you do pass you have to pay the state ref $100 for a certificate saying you passed, to get the violation nulled.

Yeah, it's a BS money maker IMO. You passed, great, your legal, pay your fee. WUT?

I don't know the decibel level, but I had it with the roush h pipe and it was REALLY loud so I just went to back to stock axle backs. Only had them on a for a weeks before changing them out because of the law.

Late to the party but on my 2016 with Steeda X I was at 100+ cold start, 130+ on rev at 5 feet.

For comparison a stock 2019 GT350 is only 115 at rev.
