I agree that Roush's are great but i just want to know what happened here Terry:

Blown car got walked by an NA car? Isn't that you driving too? What happened?
can't say for sure, looks like maybe just a 4th gear pull to legal speeds on the street, vs a full out race,

especially since the other car in question just got raped by a stock bottom end n/a 3v......

Does anyone have 2018 roush supercharger fuel rails laying around. Maybe they upgraded to fore fuel system with rails.

its an awfully expensive way to run like a bolt on car. The heat issue is a real problem

There are solutions to the heat problem. Roush doesn't offer a optional larger heat exchanger like Whipple does. Roushcharged cars have to go elsewhere to get a better heat exchanger and pump, or they can opt for a methanol water injection system. I plan on doing both. I bought the Roush supercharger when it was the only stage 1 positiive displacement supercharger available.

A larger heat exchanger isn’t going to do much. It’s the intercooler that’s undersized and there’s no way to fix that.

Do you have experience with this issue, or you just shooting from the hip. Lots of people on the interwebs like to spread opinion rather than facts.

no, it’s just common sense.

Here's a couple of facts for you. 1. A larger heat exchanger will reduce IAT2 temps regardless of intercooler size. 2. An intercooler pump that flows at a higher rate will reduce IAT2 temps regardless of intercooler size. I'm currently getting a VMP triple pass modified. I didn't like the one size fits all, I'm changing the locations of the inlet and outlet to fit the 18+ better. I'm also going with a Varimax pump that flows 25% more than the Bosch pump. I'll post my results when I'm finished.

Most people purchase the roush for a warranty. The reality is you can change almost everything out and make good power with a roush unit under ideal conditions but the heat soak is a real problem. The blower isn’t the problem.

If it wasn’t a dealer install and/or a warrantied system would anyone argue that it’s a good purchase over the other options?

It’s for people that want the car to look and feel fast.

Lol. Poor guy is still looking for fuel rails.
Wish I could help you.

Anyway let’s talk about the Roush 2018- 2019 mustang GT blower. I’ve had one for six months now. All I’ve tried to do is lower my IAT2 temps while attempting to keep the Roush warranty. Despite the lack of consistent power delivery I still don’t regret having a warranty that has proven to be honored by Roush. In my opinion if you are looking for a performance gain and want your vehicle to be repaired by a dealer in case something fails, Roush is still the way to go.

Yada yada yada. Different strokes for different folks. My goal is to run a 10.0 - 10.1 in my car that's fully loaded in options. I don't care to run 9's. To run 9's you need a certified NHRA roll cage. Window net. 5 point belt. A NHRA competition licence, and a few other items that I can't recall right now. Personally I like to take diamonds in the rough and work them to meet my goals. I find it satisfying.

10 flat is fast. Any setup is going to take work to dial that in. I’ve seen them squeeze enough hp out of the roush with all the fixins to make that happen in really ideal conditions. It still doesn’t change the limitations of the stock kit.

Most tracks are changing things based on the speed of modern cars btw

A Roushcharged car with only drag radials ran a 10.86 @ 129.75 with good air. Not too shabby. Probably just as good as a Whipple Stage 1 or an Edelbrock Stage 1. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/2018-roush-phase-1-a10-goes-10s.112630/

A 2018 GT with only a PBD tune and drag radials ran a 10.401 @ 132.66 Nice pass for just a tune.

Not New England Dragway, nor any other NHRA sanctioned tracks that I know of. If you run a 9 without the safety equipment listed in the rule book, they'll escort you to the gate.
