I did not like the looks of the lower sticking out beyond the flap(about a 1/4"), so I contacted Rokblokz and asked about a wider flap for the GT500.
They whipped out a custom flap that is 1/2" beyond the lower. I machined a 1" x 1" x 3-1/2" ABS angle bracket and 3M VHB taped it to the inside
of the fender for the upper mount. It seems stuck tight enough that the fender might crack before the tape would release. I turned the drawings
over to Rokblokz for them to produce, if they choose. Contact customer support to inquire about the GT500 flap.
