Road trip!

Went on a road trip with my girlfriend today. I took her to the avenue of the giants..old damn redwoods. In Ca...went up I5 to 36...
24.8 mpg at 75/80. Drove hwy 36....best damn road for curves. 18.6 mpg driving hard enough not to make her sick. Drove 650 mi today...damn tired. But the bullitt was great. Lots of power...but the handling with the magniride...amazing. Used sport most of the time. Good balance of handling.
I am tired...drove about 14 hrs today. The bullitt was perfect...just too much time driving.

But a nice "tired" that is. I did a 550miule drive last September, lots of different road, flat freeway, mountain freeway, tight narrow technical country road's and two lane medium speed curving roads. Long day, but great drive to enjoy the car.

I was white water rafting a few weeks ago on the Kern river with my son, and I took that same twisty road in the rental car. On the way home, I stopped by the Ford dealership and bought the Mustang Bullitt!

Congrats on the bullitt! Hwy 36 is a beast of a road! Great road for sport bikes...miatas...bullitts.
I only have about 1600 mi on the car....but have used the tires up a bit. All twisty roads!
