OP, so glad you're (relatively speaking) ok. It looks like it could have been so much worse. I hope you have a speedy recovery!

Glad your injuries are not worse than they are and that the hit wasn't on the drivers side. Hope you have a speedy recovery and hope you have good luck with the insurance company!

Best of luck with the recovery and glad to see you in relatively good spirits! Many years ago my Pop was head end by a drunk SOB. He was shaken up for months after that.

Sorry to hear about your accident, and glad you are OK (for the most part). Have a speedy recovery.
Just curious, were the injuries to your hands caused by the steering wheel air bag. My buddies son was in an accident and the air bag broke his sons hand. I guess better a hand than your chest or head.
Hopefully all goes well with healing and car replacement as well.

Sorry to add more carnage, but this was my Milan in 2011. All I had was a slight airbag burn on finger and a bruised knee. Ford makes good cars.

I see pics like these and I wonder what kind of people complain about cars getting heavier due to changing safety regulations. If this had been an early 2000s car, you probably wouldn't be posting right now.

Good to see that you came out in good shape considering the accident, that's what matters.

.
other car looked like a < 3000 pound subcompact. If other car was another 3700 pound Mustang, or worse, a 6000 pound truck / SUV ... :eyebulge:
