^^ A good wheel repair place can fix that !
you're right about this, if the damage is not to worse, but the scratch on the left side is to deep to repair.

That is exactly why I bought painter wheels once and never will again. Its also why I chose wheels in the "gum metal gray" types which hide things like this.

The one set of painted wheels I had that damaged like that I took to a powdercoater and for $35 each they powdercoated them a gun metal grey color. Looked great and never had a problem with them after that!

I got the same thing on both front rims... And I know it never hit a curb. Just makes getting mine powder coated become a more urgent priority.

To me it looks like you went through a car wash that had rails. I have seen this personally on another car. The rear wheels may sit out a little further than the front which caused them to get scuffed. I never never never go to any wash that has rails anymore.
There is not one single car wash I would ever take my car too . The amount of damage those things do to a paint job is astounding.
My wife brought her black Acura to a Boomerang car wash and it was a wreck ,swirlmarks, machine marks,OMFG !

its cost me 400 bucks to have the paint cut and polished ......NEVER USE THOSE PLACES !

High end car dealers always receive trade in with wheels bruises. They have them all repaired or rehabilitated on the dealership site.

While waiting for service, I walked around the entire dealer lot and and saw I guy with a trailer working. He was a wheel repair 'doctor' who has his complete 'shop' contained in the 14' trailer. I watched him repair an alloy wheel that had severe road rash around the rim. He also remove an out of round dent so it ran true again. He then resprayed the wheel with a factory compatible luster finish. The result was remarkable and indistinguishable from original wheels on the car. Prices for repair for extremely reasonable for such excellent repair.

I remember years ago in Autoweek magazine, some wheel repair company had a motto, "You bend'em, we mend'em!"

Looks like mine did when the dealer dropped it on it's face. Has the wheel ever been pulled?

Which begs the question...is a touchless carwash treally touchless?

This isn't the first time and I suspect it won't be the last post of guys driving through this mechanical contraptions and being surprized when they find damage.
