Rev limiter limited

I've searched for this, probably not well, but figure it will happen to someone else soon if it hasn't already.

Is there a minimum temp that needs to be obtained to reach the rev limiter?

Let car warm up as usual, enter highway in third and rpm limited to 7K. Tried to reproduce after driving it for a bit more and could not make it happen again. Each consecutive pull i could take it to the limit.

I'm guessing safety nannie?

No problem, it's burried as a foot note in the supplemental manual, although it says the limit is 8k, 7k makes more sense though, so that might have been a typo

Still do. I like that the tach actually changed the redline position with the dial rotating. Little less cool looking with newer full LCD gauge clusters on some of the models.

The engine basically has to be fully warmed up to be allowed to use its full potential. The Shelby supplement mentions the 190/8250.
