Lol my last run out cost me ÂŁ12000 beat that for a meet cost
At this rate I will have enough spares to buy a new car.
If it's a new car, it'll look like a banged up kit car at that rate
GR11M you don't want to see them, it's heart breaking.

I still haven't seen what the actual damage was
He cracked a light, scratched a bumper and curbed a wheel.

This was an excuse for a GT350 conversion, new wheels and some other crazy stuff. :D

Otherwise any bloke good with a hammer and a polishing tool would have it back on the road in no time for a few quid. ;)

In all fairness this is a quick make over, its gonna look insane!

Sent this request to Lund..:)

Engine tune for LTH & Roush CAI (insert removed)
Cooling fans on factory settings.
Also regarding rev limit, I would prefer 500rpm less than you have it set at on the previous tune if you can
Stock gearbox settings

Just got this reply:thumbsup:

Sounds good! Thank you !

Cooling fans to stock settings we can do too

Rev limit 500 less

gear shifting - stock

I will get you taken care of !

On their stock tune they run all the time.... I had them switch them back to factory last time:)

The above request was just a reminder, as I think fans on is one of their default setting, unless otherwise requested.

Yeha they'r eon even when the car goes off though, just constantly whirling away . Suppose if you're racing the car it makes sense. Dailying... you just look weird with a fan going off on your car so long.

Its a custom tune, that means you can ask Lund to modify a lot of things:

- Cooling fan switch on time: earlier means lower peak cylinder head temps, means less timing pulled on a 1/4 mile run, this is why Lund do it as most of there customers are 1/4 racers. This is why us UK folk moan about their throttle and auto shifting strategy, its too aggressive for a road car, but Lund will listen and will make changes you request, thats the whole advantage of a custom tune over a canned tune.
- DBW Global: Global drive by wire, turn it up or down, same effect as a pedal max, sprint booster etc.
- Throttle maps: Adjust the throttle curve to your needs, a drag car will be different to a pro circuit drivers for example.
- Shift points and shift firmness on auto
- Cold start on/off
- TQ management: On, Off, somewhere in between. Stock is on, hence why if you boot it in 3rd and not much happens, ECU not allowing TB to open. Also why on upshifts you get the nice push forward, that is TQ management adding a slight delay, feels good and fast but is slower. Turn it all off and the car will hit the tyre very hard, sometimes too hard and cause issues.
- Soft and hard rev limit cut
- No lift shift feature: Only JDM and Ford seem willing to offer this, essentially you can keep your foot flat to the floor during upshifts with no risk to the transmission as long as shifting above 6000rpm.
- MAF ID size changes to accommodate any CAI you may have
- Throttle body tables, to accommodate tune required throttle bodies
- Header, exhaust changes, intake manifolds, turbos, superchargers blah blah.

There is probably loads more a custom tuner can customise for you and when it comes to giving you options I will say Lund is the most accommodating of all the tuners as they will really bend over backwards to help you out.

Then of course spark, fuelling, VCT, cams all the stuff that makes power etc.
