Misery loves company so they say. Keep them coming if you are out there. I'd encourage all of you to contact your dealer to advocate for you if you've been waiting months and maybe get some of us scheduled. I will know in my case tomorrow. Good luck my "Island of Misfit Toys" brethren. :)

I feel sorry for all of you that ordered in May with a priority of 10 and didn't get a VIN today. WTF is Ford doing with this scheduling? I ordered in July with a priority of 10 and got a VIN today and everyone is saying a build week of NOVEMBER? Hell at this rate, you guys will get your cars next summer...

Yep it makes NO sense and is a slap in the face of a patient buyer. I'm at over 2 1/2 months waiting and for those May 20th guys it is closing in on 4 1/2 months. I understand the way Ford pulls retail orders but is sucks and I hope they think of changing it in the future. It is entirely disrespectful to those that are still waiting that have build-able vehicles but get snubbed over someone that could have ordered last week at a BIG dealership. Shitty policy in my book. Not much to do except grin and bear it or pull the trigger on something else. I may go for the latter if something doesn't give.

Please keep them coming membership. I hope at least someone at Ford sees this and passes it along. This isn't a equitable way to distribute allocations for retail orders in my book. Some may disagree of course, that is fine.

Not going to change, has always been this way, will always be this way. Scheduling retail orders on a new untested line could cause significantly more problems than a few people upset that it's taking too long.
Besides all this has been known by people on forums for many years so you have the option of ordering stock when it's a new model and getting it sooner, but that also comes with it's own risk, your car could be one of the first ones built and end up needing serious repairing that could take weeks or being totally scraped altogether.

That isn't what we are saying. Retail scheduled today anyway. Ford needs to consider the DATE that a retail order is placed in their metric when the OKTB is given. It is unfair to a real buyer who ordered 5/20 to get put behind someone that ordered retail this week or last week. I believe time ordered should matter and am trying to let Ford know this. I'm sure they do but I can voice my displeasure.

the OKTB was given 2 days ago, it would be impossible to get everyone the first week. Time is also one of the lesser factors in scheduling. allocation, priority & commodities all outweigh it, and that's always the case, even during regular production.
