I was looking into getting the BBK long tubes for my mustang, I see it removes the front cats so if I leave the resonator would it still pass inspection?

If you get it tuned for the 02 sensors it would most likely pass as long as they do not look under it. Plus, you wouldn't find anyone to do the install (I don't know if you plan on doing it yourself). Because that person can be fined a hefty amount of money if they are a shop and do so. But, like I said you can tune it to pass but, if they look under it you're screwed.

Yes I put everything on myself, and the headers come with extensions so you don't need to worry about cels.

Absolutely, but I spoke with BBk and asked about a high flow x pipe for the headers to the axle back and they said it'll be out shortly so I will wait for that. They said that it will bolt up to the long tubes and the roush axleback I have alrdy.

Does what? the cel's or the headers, because a tune wont get rid of cel's just extensions will and you dont need a tune for headers , it would benefit from it but you dont need it.
