I am trying to get as much out of my GT without changing the tune.
So far I have done a Resonator Delete H-Pipe and Airaid Intake tuk=be with drop in K&N. I really wan a little more sound such as a Flowmaster American Thunder or Magnaflow Street Axleback. Question is will I eventually Lose power with doing too much without changing Tune or will I stay at a 10 to 15 HP gain maybe?? Worried about back pressure and things like that I've heard that ma hurt power on stock tune.y

You won't lose any power, the exhaust adds no power. I doubt you picked up 10-15 from airraid tube. No tune is needed for any of that.

Ok, Thanks. I did feel a little power in the butt dyno once I did K&N with tube but maybe in my mind. Just don't want to lose anything

Anything exhaust wise (except for headers) and intake without a tune will not do anything power wise. Though you will save some weight over the stock exhaust. Some intakes say they require a tune and others do not.

There's no tuned needed for res delete and axleback as well as a catback upgrade.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks, Jared

Hey Jared, is there a street series Magnaflow axleback yet or any time frame on when it will be coming out? And do you agree that without a tune I'm not getting any more power with my mods?

Magnaflow has no plans to release a street series axleback. That's because it's the same decibel level as stock.

As far as your mods go you are correct. You're not going to make any additional power unless you tune the vehicle.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks, Jared

We're currently working on Part #19102, which is our Street Series axle-back exhaust for the 5.0L. We don't have a time frame for its release yet, but we will absolutely post more as soon as we have more to post.

You may want to check with production as this part will most likely never be made.

the throttle response typically isn't going to change since that is all electronically controlled.

a tune would def increase the throttle response, we can do a nice lund tune to help with that.

if your not wanting to tune the vehicle, then we have the jms pedal max, that will increase the throttle response, without needing to be tuned

plug and play, and can be removed if taking in for warranty work

I gained 14whp with AEM intake only, no tune
I would like to see 3 back to back dyno runs,

swap, then 3 more back to back dyno runs

no chance of 14rwhp, with a non tune intake
