Like the title says, has anybody replaced their vacuum gauge with a boost gauge? How do you get this little sucker out. Also is it electrical or is there actually a vacuum line behind the gauge? I would like to directly replace it with a gauge that reads boost.

Those two are one unit/assembly. You can replace it with the eco boost performance pack gauges and that will work plug and play for blower cars. Turbo cars will not show boost on that if that’s the route you take. You can also remove them and install individual gauges in that location using a gauge mount available

It's going to be electrical. Pretty sure that it's a signal from the ecm based on whatever atmospheric sensors the engine uses. Sensors like the MAP and Turbo Boost and maybe more, idk.

Awesome I'll look into that gauge mount or something similar. I would like a digital gauge.
I figured it was all electrical. The last gauge I put in a car, we ran a vacuum line. I may still do that unless it isn't necessary. Thanks guys.

Would anybody care to share some pictures of their gauges? I'm looking for a white digital gauge. I do like the pro sport evo white/green gauges but curious to what they would actually look like in the car. Or any recommendations? Not trying to break the bank for 2 gauges either.

Those are autometer cobolt gauges I have installed in that Glowshift adapter. For reference I included the stock gauges. You can’t just change one stock gauge out as it’s a double unit. The ecoboost stock gauges has vac/boost on the right

Do you have a pic of the gauges mounted in the glow shift thing? I have tried AEM and the glow shift gauges in it, AEM is too short, and the glow shift are slightly too long

I don’t have any pics with the dash trim off sitting in the adapter. The cobolt gauges fit/match pretty good with the interior.

My issue wasn't the figment with the interior, I couldn't actually tighten them to the bracket, the glow shift ones were too lose and could slide in and out, the AEM were too shallow and the threaded rod on the back was long enough to put the clamp on

How bad was the wiring? I wonder how the pro sport gauges would fit. I'll look into that Ecoboost cluster but I would rather have 2 digital gauges.

Spek Pro gauges, with boost in a vent pod. Car was off so the gauges turn red with no pressure.

How bad does the gauge block the AC from flowing? I live in Florida I need all the airflow I can get... Lol.

Some flows around the edges, but yeah, it blocks it quite a bit. I think more comes out the passenger side now and I just point that at me unless the wife is in the car.

I did the eco-boost guage as I wanted to retain the OEM appearance, plus the boost guage is mostly for passenger entertainment since when it's showing boost I'm too busy driving the beast to pay attention to it....OBTW it isn't exactly plug and play as you have to enable it in the PCM with FORScan.
