A friend of mine mentioned that Hertz rents the current GT premium in their adrenaline collection and that he planned to rent a 2015 GT once they update. He drives a new turbo Porsche but he loves Mustangs and wants to see how it handles. I thought this was a great idea for those of us like me who wish to experience the car but have no plans or hope of actually buying one. I'm sure Hertz puts their ugly sticker package on it, but has anyone had any experiencing doing this? What was the cost, how was it?

I don't think they are renting the 2015 yet but I have rented a Corvette from the adrenaline series and it was BAdA$$! had a great time driving it and it was worth the $200 for the day.

Just noticed they only rent near airports and not in Boston. I do have a lot of family in NYC so it's not out of the question.

Back in April we rented a '13 GT from their adrenaline collection whilst in Vegas for the 50th celebration.

I can't remember the exact price (of course, once you get there there's the additional driver/fuel surcharges) but it cost something in the region of $300 for the day.

We chose to collect at the airport as I figured there was a better chance of getting the car we ordered (they say they guarantee the model, but I didn't want to risk it). Biggest problem was the hour queue.......Hertz was in chaos that day and many were then having to wait another hour just for their car to be ready. Fortunately, it seemed the Adrenaline cars were readily available, so once we'd paid, it was off to collect the car (we did ask about upgrading to the Penske GT, but didn't want to risk losing the car we already had!)

We had a great day heading out to the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead :)
