Inquiring a 2015 Mustang GT

Do you guys think it’s a good buy, it’s a 2015 gt 31k and only has 32k miles. Sounds like a steal to me right?? So my question is are the 2015s reliable? I know that was mustang complete remodel year. Should I look into a 2016 or 17 instead, or take the deal?

They're as reliable as any other year but 400A and up had My Ford Sync rather than Sync 3 in '16+. Not sure if that matters (and you haven't said what trim the car is) but that's main difference IMO.

If you're getting it from a Ford Dealer, ask for the OASIS report to see if it had the A/C evap done (very common issue for 2015-2017's). If you're buying privately, maybe someone on here can run the OASIS for you.

Also what’s the difference with the ford sync?
Sync 3 can run Apple Car Play and Android Auto (2016 cars needed change of a USB hub for Carplay). My Ford Sync (2015 Premium cars) cannot.

Also, good point by Cobra Jet on the evap core. Very common failure, happened on my 2015 as well.

Given the current market that’s not a bad deal.

However, $31k for a 6 almost 7 year old vehicle isn’t great to begin with.

That being said - overall these cars are pretty solid. EVAP core, intake manifold runner control failure seem to be the two major pain points of failures. The AC issue is more prevalent and more expensive.

I second having the service history checked. Doesn’t mean either of those will happen to the car, but can be good peace of mind knowing it was fixed.
