Hey All,

I want to swap out the splitter shelby lettering that came on my GT350 with a different color. Anything to be aware of besides re-pplying heat to get the letters off? Or has anyone gone a different route?

Thanks!

3M also makes an adhesive remover. The key is to make sure the surface is super clean before reapplying the new letters. Use an IPA solution as the final step and heat with pressure to reapply.

Here's a good video on how to reapply.

Vinyl on plastic, it’ll likely come off relatively clean as long as you don’t use too much heat. Since you’ll be switching it to a different color at some point, I recommend removing any excess adhesive with isopropyl instead of a goof off or goo gone (which can seep into the plastic and inhibit good adhesion.)

Best of luck!
