Has anyone ever removed the side GT350 emblems? I can't find any videos of anyone doing it. i know it has the two push push buttons on it but can you get to them without removing the fenders?

Yes I have. taken emblems off. You use poly filament fishing line to in essence cut the glue bond of the tape used to attache the emblem. I don't believe the emblem has a profit stake on the back. I believe it is place via double sided emblem adhesive tape. The rear emblem on the R has tape a plastic tabs and you need to remove the center rear panel (not hard) and your the fishing line and drill out the tabs to remove it. Again not a big deal.

The emblems just has the 2 pieces on the back for alignment purposes. It's held down with double sided tape.

I’ve heard there are holes in the fender behind the emblem, is that true?

According to Matt Moreman with Obsessed Garage... there are holes in the fender. He had a 2017 GT350.

Go to 3:30 in the sixth video ("Polishing the Vinyl Stripes")
If you haven't watched his series on the GT350, it is very good!

Thanks for that link! Yes his vids are good. Watched a fair amount of them back just before and right after I bought mine. Then he broke my heart when he sold it lol.

So is there one hole or two? He identified the one behind the 5.

Had new a 16 GT350 and 17 GT350
When I had my 2005 GTO it was worse. If you took the GTO emblems off the sides there was one hole about as big as a nickel. The cars were made in Australia and were originally a car called Monaro. And the Monaro had side marker lights there that weren't available on the GTO. So the emblems on the GTO were stuck on there covering the holes with 3M tape.

Yes they have large holes.... I swapped mine for the FP "Powered by Ford tags" that they use on the FP350 race cars
