Removing factory stripes

For what it’s worth, I removed pin striping off my ‘94 with help from a hair dryer. Came off no problem. Finished it up with applying rubbing alcohol to the left over residue. When I was done there was no way you could even tell there was ever pin striping to begin with. Actually didn’t even take very long. I’m pretty sure it can be done easily.

Peel it off, @bjstang took his (not factory) stripes off recently so you can check his build thread for some tips. 3M has a product to clean up residue, but Dip Desolver works very well for it as well in my experience.

Shouldn't really be any issues on this new of a car, on an older one that sits in the sun you might notice color differences under the stripes.

Thank you for the quick responses. I know aftermarket stripes can be relatively easy to remove with a hair dryer. My main concern was whether Ford used any special adhesives or coating over the stripes, or if they would be just as easy to remove.
