can the factory stripes be removed from a 2019 GT without damaging the Ruby Red Duco and if so, how to do it? Is it risky?

For what itā€™s worth, I removed pin striping off my ā€˜94 with help from a hair dryer. Came off no problem. Finished it up with applying rubbing alcohol to the left over residue. When I was done there was no way you could even tell there was ever pin striping to begin with. Actually didnā€™t even take very long. Iā€™m pretty sure it can be done easily.

Peel it off, @bjstang took his (not factory) stripes off recently so you can check his build thread for some tips. 3M has a product to clean up residue, but Dip Desolver works very well for it as well in my experience.

Shouldn't really be any issues on this new of a car, on an older one that sits in the sun you might notice color differences under the stripes.

Thank you for the quick responses. I know aftermarket stripes can be relatively easy to remove with a hair dryer. My main concern was whether Ford used any special adhesives or coating over the stripes, or if they would be just as easy to remove.
