The short of it is that its for manual transmission cars and will 'blip' the throttle for you when both brake and clutch are pressed for downshifting relating more for track situations. It is completely unnecessary to have for normal daily driving. If you know what heel-toe shifting is, this basically represents that without doing the motion. On track I am driving the car hard down straights and then extremely heavy on the brake slowing to a point where I need to downshift but don't have the time nor am I ready to move my foot from brake to throttle for a manual blip so this does it for me. Downshifting at high rpms without rev matching the lower gear is bad for the transmission as well as the rest of the drivetrain and can also put you into a spin. It has an on off switch and only powers up when I want it to. The dials are for how high you want the revs blipped and the other dial is for delay. I love it.

Their website shows videos of its purpose, function and cost.

I've tried searching for almost an hour and can't find anything. Anyone know the easiest way to remove the entire assembly of the little slide out drawer on the left of the steering wheel?

Are there screws that hold it in place behind the dash down there? Clips? I tried to stick my head under there but it's very hard to see anything around it.
After taking off the screws on the left side if i remember 2 of them, you have to pull that entire assembly out. It is connected by clips and comes off easily. Be gentle though. The drawer slides with a rubber bad wrapped on the side and goes all the way to back.

The AUTO-BLiP is a new patent pending electronic device that will automatically blip (open) the throttle when downshifting gears on an automobile equipped with a manual transmission and an electronic accelerator pedal system. AUTO-BLiP works by monitoring your automobile’s accelerator pedal position sensor (TPPS), brake pedal, and clutch pedal, and only blips the throttle when both brake and clutch pedals are pressed simultaneously. AUTO-BLiP reduces mechanical wear and tear on manual transmissions, improves vehicle stability when downshifting gears, and eliminates the need for the heel-and-toe driving technique.

That's a sunglasses Drawer?!!??

What he said!. Lol. I have been searching all over to find out what it's for. I watched the documentary A faster horse and at the very end of the show he gets out of the car and looks like he pushes the drawer in and the dinging goes off in the can. Ever since then I have been researching it.
