Remove lower grille?

Is there any practical way of removing the lower grille from a 2020 GT without taking the front bumper cover off?

No, you need to unclip it from the inside of the bumper. It's also wider in the back which would prohibit it from coming out without the bumper off.

You can cut it off leaving just the side pieces behind, sort of like a grill delete. But it's a pain in the ass to do so cleanly, especially with it on the car.

Taking the bumper off a 2020 is not bad at all, and there's less chance of breaking clips like the 15-17s.
