Title.

Just installed a OEM Sync 3 kit and GT350 steering wheel, everything works except remote start, I double checked and everything Is plugged in I wouldn't think the remote start wouldnt be an invidual plug when you remove the ACM/APM I would think it's connected to the main harness on the car. I'm going to try resetting the battery later after work. It's a possibility my fob has a nearly dead battery would that prevent the remote start? I plan on trying my other fob after work as well.

Am I an idiot or did I overlook something?

Make sure your hood is shut all the way.

It's shut, I drove it on the freeway @ 85 all the way to work earlier. :headbonk:

It could be a programming issue as well.. however the battery hard resetting should fix that possibly. Just incase though I have a obd mx link showing up on tuesday.

Ok so I reset the battery I can start the car with remote start, turn it off inside the car, get out and try again can't remote start it... car has two DTCS both are P06B8 I cleared them but they came back.

I did start the car without an ACM and ran the supplied obd2 programmer I believe this completely fucked up my ACM and or some sort of programming that can't be fixed without either forscan (I have an obd mx link arriving Tuesday.) or a dealer recalibration.

I can master reset the ACM and battery and first try the car will remote start and no issues, but then after one cycle the issues come back, the other issue is infinite door chime through the dash cluster when the car has no accessory power and the inability to remote start..

Any advice or help is appreciated :headbonk:

Man, I'm having the same issue. I noticed it after I tuned my car with Cobb. I ref lashed it comes back, then later in the day it goes back to the honking. I don't know what to do!

Mine ended up being the shifter assembly, car wasn't clicking all the way into park, they replaced it under warranty .
