Cold engine, very rich mixture, gasoline washing the piston rings and cylinder walls dry, gasoline and moisture gets in the oil causing dilution, moisture inside the exhaust pipe.
Ok folks, thanks for the help
So only use RS when I am going to drive the car
How long would you say it needs to be driven to warm up the engine?
At the moment my battery is reading 12 to 14 volts

Why I asked in the 1st place is because:
I had a flat battery a few weeks back after leaving her for a week.
Now I do have:

The Thinkware F750 running on the parking security for 48 hours is draining the battery.
Also when the battery died, i forgot to switch the US sequential lights off, have a switch under the steering wheel, so can switch from UK to US, but forgot to turn them back. And when on US the switch is lit and have found, it stays lit so think that might have killed the battery.
Thats why now I always flash the indicators when I leave the car, cause if it flashes 3 Red, i know its on US, 1 yellow its back on UK
I think I might be the only S550 in the UK with the 3 flashing reds. The Euro Stangs for around $3k can have them converted, but thats to have 3 flashing yellows, not Reds.
So thats why I am worried as have that drain on the battery
thanks

starting and idling never really brings the car up to temperature, you need to drive it, that way it sees a full heat cycle, so as said, it can be more harm than good
^^^ This.

If you drive it once a week that will keep the battery charged.

if you pose a question like this on a site that deals primarily with older collector cars which are stored away for the winter, the answer will be not to start the car for the reasons already stated. If the battery goes dead after only a week and you have the battery load tested to verify you have no cell issues, you either left something on as you already mentioned or you have some other parasitic battery drain.

what are you talking about "primarily with older collector cars"
this is the S550 section. not the old Classics from the 60s
:D
No need to come across as so aggressive, cause people will come back at you as aggressive.
I thanked people for their advice, have not used the RS since Tuesday, and will only now use when I am going to go out in the car
Yes I think it was the switch, as before that the battery was fine. And if there were battery issues would it be reading 12 to 14 volts all the time?

The dash reading is not accurate and does not really tell the condition of the battery.
I've had dead batteries that would read 12v too.
Like others said, get a trickle charger like battery tender or similar and hook it up when not being used for a long time.
A low battery will die a lot faster than a charged up one.

I second that. You need for the oil to move around to properly warm up the car. You can idle shortly for the pressure to drop a little but 15 minutes is way too much and will do more harm. Drive it around gently best way to warm it up.

Yours truly a canadian

I apologize if I offended you that was not my intention. I was only trying to offer a different perspective from people who deal with your type of issue.

I'm just curious, what do these large dealerships do with all these cars they have on the lot during the winter? Everybody worries about there cars parked in there garage or driveway but these dealers have a ton of cars on the lot that don't move in the winter. What do they do?
They unplug them.
