I would love to add some more HP to my 5.0 with a supercharger, But I'm afraid of problems?
I'll be at the track with my car every chance I get. At Redline for extended periods must put a serious strain on the engine with added HP from a SC.
I would love to hear from the guy's that run track days regularly with a supercharger on their 5.0 I'm talking road course track days, Not the drag strip.

I would skip a SC since your focused on road courses. I would get a GT350 intake manifold setup and headers with catback plus a tune. I would then give Kelly at BMR a call in regards to suspension and your goals.

With proper tuning, MANY people road road their supercharged cars.
No matter what form of supercharger it is.

Custom tuned for "Dyno Numbers" isn't the best idea.
However a nice safe solid tune, (such as we provide) will result in plenty of road course fun, for a long long while.

NOTE: We actually rent road courses and do testing with our cars often, to prove out intercoolers and things like that. All cars run the same tune files that we provide to our customers, and us run of the mill fuel from the gas station that we purchase on our way to the track. :)

Honestly, "At red line for extended periods of time" is going to put serious strain on your engine with or without any FI addition. If you're doing road course's, I don't really see the benefit of a SC. Better off worrying about suspension, tires, and wheels. The SC is just going to create additional unwanted wheel spin for you. And additional weight. I'd say an intake, exhaust, a tune, a pedalmax, and maybe upgraded manifold (assuming you don't already have these). That should get you a nice boost in HP and throttle response.

for road courses, the paxton, procharger and vortechs are the way to go imo

very good control over the vehicle
