So I've read a lot of this forum, and I've pretty much nailed down my upgrade path to a GT350 IM and tune, maybe catted LTH down the road. I want it to run reliably and for a long time. I understand there are always risks with mods - but there are often ways to mitigate that risk. I see notes here and there about mods that are good to support reliability in the motor, especially at higher RPM. I'm hoping to compile a somewhat comprehensive list of those mods and could use some help.
What I have essentially figured out so far (and I know I may get these wrong, this platform is new to me):
ATI Balancer
Upgraded OPG and Crank sprocket?
And then MMR just bumped a post about a "High RPM Pulse Ring"
My goal for my car is a DD and weekend track (road course) warrior. I love doing HPDE days, and so it will spend time north of 7000RPM after the tune.
I know that a better oil cooler is generally a good idea for tracking the car, so that's on the list, too, but that's generic, and not specific to this motor.
I'm not in a huge hurry, and I'll probably start with the reliability mods and then do the power adders after.
