OK well now that is new- on my 11 you had to hold the brake pedal for 5 seconds first- but at least someone else is familiar with the sport mode on the base PP

yeah i tested it a while back. you just need to double tap to go to sport, tap and hold to disable everything. i'm pretty sure this just changes traction control/advancetrac behavior and has nothing to do with throttle response.

I'm pretty sure there is a difference with the base PP sport mode as far as steering and throttle response

steering feel is a different button, next to the advancetrac button. normal, sport and comfort.

Oh there's definitely a noticeable difference in throttle response when I switch to sport mode....any other base PP owners here that can back me up on this?

i have no idea because i never drive in any mode but the defaults.

I know alll about the steering modes and what not but what sense does it make to add an ADDITIONAL Sport mode that only changes steering feel in addition to the steering mode button? Maybe the throttle response difference is just placebo effect then lol, but here's what happens when i place it in Sport Mode- not Sport Steering...

The toggle switches should be in every mustang. They are literally a part of every marketing ad they've done for the interior as a big selling point.

They really probably should because it plays a big part in peoples perceptions when they test drive them. I can imagine an EB with regular gas and no selectable drive modes seeming bland to a test driver who is looking for a sport car experience but it totally changes when the car is in sport, sport+ or track mode

I happen to like it a lot lol. Looks much better when it's on and lit up.
