I contacted them and had a chat.
I was told that they want to put a couple of orange flashing hazard lights behind the grill and in the back window.
they would wire them in and possibly need to put a switch in the dash somewhere to turn them on & off.

They also want to place some temporary lights on the roof for a photo shoot.
this would be along the lines of a emergency vehicle lights

I was hoping that they would do something more like the LED's systems that Dynamic Diodes do. ie switchback and DRL.
I'm hoping you told them where to put those lights :). Surely they'd be illegal to use for regular folks in any case.

Anything for free advertising, Just crap
Speaking of advertising... Anyone here plan on putting advertising on their car?

Not huge, I mean like... the top bit of the rear windscreen etc.

You'll need to measure the angle of the wonky third brake light first.

Haha no... Not exactly what I had in mind. I meant business advertising.

I'll be getting a friend to do my rear/front windshields.

A friend of mine has seen a Triple Yellow GT with CAT (heavy machinery) advertising on it, said it looked pretty good. Obviously the colours and everything compliment or tie in with the rest of the car.
But my understanding is, it was like a full size decal on the paint on the sides.

Oh nah won't be doing that much. Just logo/phone number etc on the rear windscreen.

Could either go with red or blue lettering (or borders on text). Guess I'll work out the details later.

If you're getting mates rates, I guess that's between you and your mate.

I'd rather pay more to NOT have advertising. I can't even stand those awful plastic rego plate surrounds that say the dealer's name. And I will be telling my dealer NOT to put their sticker on the back window. They're not paying me to advertise, or giving me a discount, and I have no personal interest in promoting their brand.

The business will be paying for the car, so I figured may as well use the car to get more business through free advertising

When I picked up my current car many years ago, the dealer was generous enough to have placed a dealership badge on the paintwork.

Haven't seen any Mustangs suffer that kind of fate.....yet (not in Australia anyway).

On the paintwork?! Wow... That's just a bit rude.
