Both of my cars have Recaros - and I love both. The cloth Recaros in the Mustang are terrific. Plus, they will keep you motivated to keep your BMI under 26.

The GT350 ones are tight. The leather Recaro as found in the 201A and 500A (Bullitt) suited me just fine (5'11, 250lb fat-ass). The extra support was welcome when cornering on the street but not so much that I'd spend the money.

Swapped my leather premium heated/cooled electric seats for the GT350R Recaros. Would never go back. Especially for what these are worth versus any other seat. But I'm 5'10" 140lbs

OP these threads are useless. As everyone will try to sell you on what they have. My advice, find a Ford dealer or two. And see which seats you like best. If after you sat in both and still can’t make up your mind. Flip a quarter.

I think you need to sit in the seats and see what works best for you. My GT has the heated/cooled leather seats and I think they're pretty decent and unless your Mustang is going to be a dedicated track car they're fine.
I remember sitting in the Bullitt's Recaro seats and thinking that they were nothing special. The most comfortable Recaro seats I've ever been in were the power Recaro's in a Focus RS. They were straight up the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in.

To actually know your answer you will need to put ass in seat and go for a drive.

They were the reason I didn’t buy the Focus... too inclined up and not enough adjustment. So if you get nothing else out of this OP, you have to try both yourself.

Since you're ordering new, you should consider the carbon sport package. Comes with heated/cooled leather+alcantara seats. I think they look much nicer than the regular leather seats. Plus you get other carbon fiber interior goodies.

Hello!

I will be placing an order soon for a 2021 Mustang GT and I am on the fence on getting the Recaro seats. I love the way they look and feel but a part of me likes the heated and cooled seats.

This car would be my daily driver and I wanted to know if people who have the Recaro seats regret it or not.

I know you're paying more for less but I think they make the interior look so much more better.

Any thoughts and opinions would help!
If you are skinny, plan to stay skinny and don’t mind not having heated seats then Recaro might be what you like. For me they aren’t worth losing heated and cooled seats. JMO

I don't know why but there is a DIFFERENCE between the Recaros installed in the Ecoboost and in the Bullitt. The Bullitt is fat-ass (280lb) friendly. The Ecoboost version rather less so but not unlivable. I don't know which version the GT or Mach1 are using. Definitely find one and check to make sure. Or enroll in your local kickboxing/MMA gym to lose the fat.

I like the heated and cooled leather. Alcantara and the microfiber-ish stuff is a challenge to keep looking good.

I'm not a fat ass, and unless there were a feature that the recarros have that I'm unaware of, I'd pass. If I wanted or felt I needed the extra support to track the car there is other aftermarket options.

In the end, it's what works for the guy driving
