Its a lot easier to swap in a seat for track days than try to retrofit heating cooling and power for day to day. Tbh the recaros should be a no cost option on the premium.
I guess that's the long term plan.

I am sorta leaning going with a base model and the cloth recaro.

if not wanting FJG is premium worth it? I dont want the upgraded sound system or heated/cooled stuff.

For me it was worth it. The accent stitching is nice and gives the interior a higher end look to it. But I wanted leather so I had no choice.

I had a fiesta st. I loved everything about the car except for the recaros. They are the reason I sold it. When I was looking at mustangs I test drove a premium with recaros and after a 20 minute drive my back hurt. I would recommend sitting in a few cars for a while before choosing.

I was only able to put on a little over 500 miles on my car before I had to park it for winter. I got standard seats and I love them, super comfy. I’ve never sat in recaros but a buddy at work said they are not very comfy at all as he has sat in a few vehicles with them. He is a small guy to so not large and tall, however, I can’t comment as again I have not sat in one. Just expressing how comfy and nice the standard seats are!

IMO the recaros are not worth the cost and loss of comfort unless you're going to be tracking the car regularly and would like to keep it relatively stock for a while.
