Hi, just wondered if anyone else has noticed the strange pattern of "spots" within the rear window.
It's almost like a leopard type of spots in perfect grid lines across the full window.
I've spoken to the dealer and they are going to speak to Ford about it, whilst at the dealer I did check out their demo and 3 customer cars which were the same.
Hope someone can clarify if this is right or wrong.
The marks look like they are milky blobs within the laminate of the glass.
Cheers.

If the other 4 cars have the same spots then it sounds normal, have you a picture?

Seen this on a lot of car windscreens, old and new. I'm pretty sure it's normal, though not sure what causes it. Seems most visible at certain angles.

Cheers mate, an interesting read.
But it looks shocking.
And I think it's got worse since new!
No clue to be honest then mate, you're within warranty so can get it fixed under that. Can you get pics of it for us?

Fixed.

I'm really struggling to see the leopard spots here though, unless i'm mistaking them for clouds?

That seems normal. It's the tempering process which the glass floats on molten metal with heaters submerged. The spots are caused by uneven temperature between the heater coils after tempering.
It get's worse when you wear polarized glasses.
