Recently got some BMR rear upper shock mounts done by an accredited insurance Autobody shop that said they had experience with said Mounts.
But when I was checking for a rattling noise in the wheel well a week later I found a questionable configuration of the fasteners at the top of the shock.
There is no nut on top of the shock. First two pics shows my shocks. Next two show pics from the BMR site.
Both sides are missing the nut.
Like how would the guy even TQ it?
Would this have damaged the shocks? And cause a horrendus rattling noise?

It will be noisy even with that nut. Very strong design except for the small spherical bearing. You should replace those factory 18 mm head bolts with shorter ones. They contact the inner sheet metal due to the long length.

That's exactly the sound I'm hearing.
