I watched a youtube video on how to paint over it with some other type of spray (rustoleum) but I just did it and it was shitty. Plastidip is better? I've never used it
Plastidip is better because if you mess it up you can just peel it off. It's also the best for emblems since you don't have to take everything perfectly. Just 2-3" around it and spray 4-5 light coats and just peel. The dip will cut the edges. It's pretty simple if you watch the vids

Plastidip is so easy. You owe it to yourself to at least try it before buying emblems because it's so cheap, and reversible.

Yeah plastidip really is the best option, especially if you do it right they won't have a texture to it and it'll look just like they're painted.

I got the matte black badges from Mak and then primed and painted them. Plasti-dip will work on the stock chrome but good luck on getting anything else to stick long term.
