I'm probably not going to report it, even if they refuse to pay. It will count as an accident, and I don't want that on the car fax if I can avoid it. It will bring down the price of the car in the future if I ever want to sell it.That sucks but you should have reported it as soon as it happened.
Unfortunately that true.I'm probably not going to report it, even if they refuse to pay. It will count as an accident, and I don't want that on the car fax if I can avoid it. It will bring down the price of the car in the future if I ever want to sell it.
If they even have insurance. I do agree that calling the cops may have been a good idea, I doubt the person is going to own up to it.Sorry about your car bring hit, I would have been pretty pissed off when they refused to give up their insurance info, definitely would have gotten the cops involved.
Are you sure that a police report will cause a car fax incident? I thought that only came from dealers and certain body shops? And I thought it was only over a certain dollar value....I'm probably not going to report it, even if they refuse to pay. It will count as an accident, and I don't want that on the car fax if I can avoid it. It will bring down the price of the car in the future if I ever want to sell it.
