Rear decklid emblem, why????

I just took mine off and put a Red 5.0 badge there. The black GT that was stock just didn't look right.

When my GT350 was new in 2019, I was annoyed how easy the black plastic panel scratched. Polish and buffing too often. So I purchased a backup OEM trim panel /badge for $185 from a dealer in 2021. Someday I may decide to replace the original trim panel/badge. Now, I see them selling north of $700 if you can find an OEM new with the GT350 badge. Yikes!

They had 1 at the Factory on display surrounded by Shelby's ,and another entered at the Track session and Car Show .
I asked and They have no problem with Mach1s at there awesome event , and we're taking my friends 23 FJG Mach this year

I'm just curious, since it seems the opinion of those Shelby guys is worth something to you...

Do you think they would still have the same opinion if someone with a Mach 1 entered their car show wearing a GT500 badge?

The only way to learn , is to listen . I sure did ruffle some feathers installing that rear panel and posting a picture . That wasn't my intention , also the Mach has the 350 intake and throttle body.
I can't answer your question, that would be an assumption I don't want to assume.
