'17 PP GT. Man , those rear calipers are looking a little dainty...., esp compared to the 6 piston monsters up front. Are these ever an issue, and is there a beefed up replacement that works well? :ford:

Full tilt boogie has a kit to run the gt350 rear setup.

That's your best bet.

they're smaller than the fronts but thats how brakes go. They're sized correctly for their job.

If you want brakes that look beefier, more power to ya but they wont help you stop any faster.

I looked into this as well. strictly from an appearance point of view, TBH. I ran into the same wall; it's either the stock rear caliper which is used across the S550 line, or you go full GT350 setup front and rear which last time I checked was about $3.5K (it was a while ago/IIRC). WAY too expensive for what is primarily a cosmetic upgrade.

I have a '17 non-PP GT and while I've not installed the parts yet, I bought the 50th Anniversary 6-pot Brembos with the white letters and StopTech rotors front/rear. Also bought a kit of black G2 caliper paint to paint the stock rears to match the front. Should look pretty decent once done.

As you've already got the 6-pot Brembos, you could look into a rotor/pad upgrade which at minimum, will look better (IMO) than stock.
