Ya, there is no way the GT will be only 420 after some of the things Ford has claimed. After looking at what a lot of people have said about the I4 and looking at the numbers of other ecoboosts, I think 310 is in the ballpark. I hope, and think it will be higher though.

Never heard of either of those websites, which makes me suspicious right off the bat. I wouldn't believe it though, the GT number seems too low. Ford already stated that there was some sort of a power bump to the 5.0, so it will have over 420hp.

A lot of people are predicting the I4 getting 310hp, but I have a feeling it will come in closer to 320hp.

Completely agree. I think 320 is realistic

Well if the 2.3 in the MKC is set to make 275/300 and Livernois, yeah I know an aftermarket to OEM comparison means almost nothing, pulls +40/+35 on an 85 octane fuel tune. Which means if Ford can make similar tune adjustments we could expect output in the 315/335 range.

v8- 420 horsepower with the potential of 500 with upgrades
That screams bulls*** anyway. Mine started at 412 and it's at 750ish (bhp) with upgrades, and ain't even touched exhaust, long block, fuel system etc. Why would potential drop?

Sounds like people spewing their own thoughts, which are uneducated to begin with.

It meant upgrades from the factory I think. But I agree. They aren't reliable

Dave Pericak on record already said that the current V8 on the Mustang has 420hp therefore the new one will have quite a bit more on Jay Leno show.

Factory upgrades? You mean dealer available? Even so, you can get 625 (maybe even more now) dealer installed, warranted, upgrades.
