I just saw the new Raxiom replacement tail lights on the AM web site. They are round instead of the 3 vertical (well almost vertical) ones that come stock with the S550. There doesn't seem to be a video of them installed nor how the sequential turn signals will look with these.

Have you seen them? Would you replace your stock tail lights with these?

Thanks

They look terrible. Looks like they should be on a Prius or Honda Insight.

I'm of the same mind...the tri-bars say "Mustang"....these new things say "GT-R Wannabe"

Quad rounds would look like a GTR to me. Just the duals looks like it wants to be a Ferrari.

I heard back from Raxiom. These are NOT DOT approved. American Muscle said the design is to replicate the 2016 Ford GT (not Mustang GT). So these are no go in California and I'm sure many other states. Video is due, but no ETA. I'll stay with my tri-bar tail lights.

I saw them on a CO car today and I thought they looked pretty good.

I want to sell my old tail lights since I bought these new Raxiom tail lights and installed them already. PM me an offer for my original 2017 tail lights (in perfect condition). There are basically three distinct LED sections in each circle. When you hit the brake with the parking lights off, all 3 sections light up. When you hit the brake with the parking lights on, only one section lights up (kind of a defect in my opinion). I noticed similar behavior when using the turn signal. With the parking lights off, the turn signal illuminates each of the 3 LED sections (one at a time) until they are all lit up. With the parking lights on, just one of the three LED sections light. This might only happen if you also buy/install the optional sequencer, but if you pay more for the sequencer, you hope it makes the lights blink the same whether or not your parking lights are on.

They still look good when you want your car to look different from other Mustangs, which is why I bought them. I think they make the car look kind of Ferrari-ish (see model F12 I put a pic of below). Also, the 'smoked' tail-light color kind of matches the color of my paint. I'm still waiting on my carbon fiber wing and 'Roush' "R" symbol to arrive that I will stick on the middle of my blank decklid.
