I recently changed my order to include the 50th anniversary package and noticed that the leather went from ebony to raven. Is there a difference in quality? I know ebony looks like a real dark charcoal color but I had ebony in my 06 and 2010 GT and they looked black to me....

Can't remember what thread but Ebony and Raven were confirmed as the same color by Ford. Also, the leather is believed to be of higher quality as well. If you look at the photo's it has the same designs in the leather as the 68B package does. Which has upgraded leather described as "Natural grain" leather.

Hope this helps

The upgraded leather in that package will feel soft - very nice quality. I've got some recent photos of your interior here.

I'm curious if it's a full leather seat... One thing I noticed with the 68B package is that, even though the leather is super soft and high quality, not all of it was leather... Parts of the lower bolsters were vinyl. Although the majority of the seat was leather, and you didn't come into contact with the vinyl bit very often, it was kind of glaring once I noticed it.

I wonder if that was a pre-production thing. The redline seats that I recently saw in person didn't seem to have any vinyl on them. They were very uniform look and feel. That said, I don't think that vinyl in the right places would be a bad thing. The great quality leather will wear out in certain places (side bolsters) from getting in and out of the car, etc. Vinyl in those spots would make them look better longer. I could appreciate that.
