Raising top manually

I searched but did not find anything regarding raising the top manually. I know the older cars with hydraulic is relatively simple, disconnect the piston rams from the top and two people can raise it. But with our electric motors, is there a way to do so in the event of a failure?

Haven't heard of a manual method for raising the top. Doesn't mean there isn't one - only that I don't know it.
