The coupe and convertible has different antenna. On a convertible how do you take just the mast off?

Is radio reception better
No. I live 45 minutes south of Philadelphia and reception is worse with the stubby than the factory antenna. I use the stubby in the winter, as I keep a cover on my car in the garage. I occasionally will drive it in the winter months to keep it "alive." In summer I go back to the factory antenna for better FM reception, when I listen to FM that is.
