Hi I was hoping someone could have some advice on this. The other day I took the mustang for a drive once I got home I turned the car off and about 2 minutes later tried to turn it back on but noticed that there was a warning which said “engine coolant overtemperature” so I let it cool off checked the engine bay and noticed the coolant had risen above the max line the next day I ran it for a bit and the coolant dropped below the line again and after some digging as to why it overheated I noticed (using forscan) that the low speed fan wouldn’t come on but the high speed fan would and once that comes one both of them would turn on but the LFC doesn’t individually?

I checked the fuses and even used tester cables to see if both the fans work and they do once I give the motors some power but shouldn’t the LFC work on its own ?

You flushed the system yourself?

Sounds like you might have air in the system.

Other than that I have no idea. I'm sure the other Mr. Knowitalls will help soon enough..

Seems like my low speed fan don’t working I tried turning it on using forscan the fan itself only comes on when I engage the high speed fan but when I try to turn in the low speed fan nothing happens. I checked the relay and the connectors they’re getting 12v so I’m not entirely sure what else it could be the wiring seems alright aswell
