Please post what materials you find to consider for DIY grill replacement. Also any tips on how you do it if you proceed!I love the look of it. but I am going to attempt to build my own...it cannot be that hard. and if I fail, I definitely want this. also want the RTR front end..or grill if its offered so I might hold off on this.

Hey svt_n8 do you have adaptive cruise? I really want this grill but don't want to lose functionality of the ACC if anyone else can chime in?RaceMesh Grille

Here in Utah, the amount gravel on our interstates and highways is ridiculous. I have to replace my windshields so often that I added " 'free' windshield replacement" to my insurance policy two years ago for an extra $4 a month (zero deductible, kinda nice) so as much as I would like to do a grill delete, between the number of bugs I hit and the gravel on our roads, I just can't do a grill delete. Too risky. Full clear bra on the front end has saved me from two major rock chips in the paint so far, but now the clear bra looks like $#!% but replacing that is cheaper than a repaint. How about bugs and debris reaching the radiator? There is also a risk of puching a hole on the radiator with small rocks coming from the car driving in front of you!
Just about to ask the same thing, I want it but don't wanna loss My ACCHey svt_n8 do you have adaptive cruise? I really want this grill but don't want to lose functionality of the ACC if anyone else can chime in?

I couldn't find a conclusive answer anywhere. I spoke to the guys at racemesh and they agreed to build me just the upper grille (was a little over half the cost of the full upper/lower). It's still being built so I haven't received it yet, but I had the guys in the photoshop thread do a rendering of the upper racemesh with the lower ACC grille. It's post #1674 in the linked thread below.Just about to ask the same thing, I want it but don't wanna loss My ACC
Let us know how it turns out. I've got the same concern so I might do the same thing if you are happy and the real thing looks as good as the PhotoShop.I couldn't find a conclusive answer anywhere. I think still looks great and will be worth keeping my ACC/collision mitigation.
Best looking grill I have seen for the s550, but I don't know if I can justify the cost :hail:
