It doesn’t clash in my opinion. The 400a (and my 2016 401a) has more noticeable perforations on the leather of the front seats as well, it’s mostly for the heated and ventilated seats in the front. For 2018 Ford added an underlying design into the leather to give it more of a premium look. Once you see it in person, I don’t believe you’ll think it clashes with the rear bench either. :cheers:
Having the front and back seats not match, is the type of thing that annoys the heck out of me. Hints of being a salvage rebuilt.One more question. I notice the upgraded seats in Ebony have horizontal lines. Appears to the back seats do not. Does it look odd in person?
You sure your butts not the problem? LOL. My wifes 2011 explorer is pushing 190k miles now and her seats still look pretty good for the most part. She has one small spot in the front center of the seat where the dye has worn through, but that's about it. And she's not easy on her truck.
That'll be a long wait. That car is gone, I traded it in on an 18GT PP. I'll keep an eye on the seat though. Where is yours showing abnormal wear?
Did you get the Premiere Trim option? That's the only way to get real leather on the 15-17, 401A was still vinyl.
I think they all should say "leather*" in the description because there is a big asterisk. My couches and chairs at home are leather; every square inch you see, front to back, top to bottom, is full grain leather. The seats in these cars are maybe 20% leather, even in the Premiere.
