Hello all!

Recently the motor in my modified EcoBoost mustang blew out. Think this happened because the oil pan was cracked after hitting a raised sewer grate (lowered suspension) and the pressure built up causing the motor to blow, rather than because of the mods.

I am wondering two things, if anyone has experience swapping the EcoBoost engine for something such as a voodoo or coyote (if this is a good idea for cost/benefits) or if I should just replace it with the same engine, and if they have any recommendations for shops in the North Carolina-South Carolina or Tennessee regions capable of doing this.

Also willing to drop a built steel EcoBoost engine in it from somewhere like tuneplus through AdamTunes.

Current mods that would be thrown away if an upgraded engine took place
  • Stage 3 tune
  • Wastegate actuator
  • ATM intercooler
  • MBRP cutback race exhaust black with downpipe
  • airaid intake tube
  • oil catch can, etc.

All mods obviously would not be compatible with an upgraded engine so I am looking for advice/ opinions! Especially on shops in the regions above capable of helping with installation.
