I raise all the windows for my wife, or if I have the grandkids in the back seat. When it's just me, or one of my guys is along, the windows are down. I have owned a lot of convertibles and never found putting just the back windows up did anything.

My son is 6 and it blocks the some of the sun from hitting him.

They most likely forgot to roll the rears down. It happens.

Hey Folks, I have always wondered why some people drive their convertibles with the top down, front windows down and back windows up? I’ve seen this many times and I’m at a loss as to why. It also looks strange as well.

Any thoughts?

I usually put the windows up with the top down, if I get a phone call or my wife is with and she gets a call, other than that I leave them all down.
