Question re: disabling Advancetrac

I have a base 19 and if I turn tc off and advance track sport mode (tapping twice) then tap again to turn tc on. Now hold brake and double tap and hold button about 10 seconds. Tc off advance track off. I'm sure the PP cars have a similar brake being held sequence it let's my car unleash. Ab ab up up down down left right left right select start...something like that

If you hold the button for 5 seconds it will turn advance track off.

I used to double tap and hold but found out it’s not needed. Lol

That is the perfect option, someone down here is OZ is selling a switch set up... so you can turn everything off when needed.

Please understand, that the "nannies" can be adjusted to the right amount of involvement.

There are modes that allow the mustang to step out, or hold a slight drift and not have to bring you back in. Not sure if you are aware of the modularity of it. Or how it can allow one to learn their new car in steps. Nannies are not, an all or nothing type of thing.

Have you actually been in a situation where they are applied ? Those least intrusive ? Clearly not.
Track mode with advance trac on you still get a lot of intervention.

Looks like the ABS light also came on, indicating this also disables the ABS?

Nahh that is on because it’s been on the dyno.. I did the button install whilst we left it on there over the weekend

We may trade off the Mustang next week but if we don’t, I think I am doing this switch install. The thought had crossed my mind in the past, but just let it pass on by.

I have the fuse box numbers right in front of me, and I can't find Advance Trac or Traction Control anywhere in the driver or passenger side fuses. Of course, it might be labeled something else, such as "Powertrain Control Module Relay" which is fuses 22 and 82 on the driver's side. And there is an "Automatic Brake System Valve," (fuse 28 on passenger side) too.
