Greetings,

I have a 2022 Mustang GT Premium without the PP1 Package.

I already have the Steeda Min Drop Springs, The BMR Sways w/ End Links, BMR Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit II, and the BMR Differential Lockout Bushing Kit. All I need now are Shocks and Struts.

I am going to order the Ford Performance Track Shocks and Struts to complete my suspension upgrade, but that particular kit which costs $690.00, does not include the Rear Toe Links (M-5927-M) or the Toe Link Knuckle Bushings (M-SA460-M) like the full blown FPT Kit has, which costs $1,500.00.

Do I need these parts? I read in a M6 thread going back to 2019 that all of the 2018+ Mustang GT's already came with the Rear Toe Links (M-5927-M) and the Toe Link Knuckle Bushings (M-SA460-M) and were not needed. In this tread it also stated that this was not correct. These are not really expensive parts, but if I do not need them, why buy them and also pay the labor to install them. Your help in clearing this up is appreciated.

Thanks

The PP has the rear toe links, but they don't have the Toe Link Knuckle Bushings. When I got my Ford Performance Track Kit installed I didn't install the Knuckle Bushings. I got those installed when I did the 4.09 gears as they have to drop the whole rearend assembly. I would do them, it made a bigger difference than I thought they would.

I assume you are talking about these.

Yes, those look like the parts. So, my 2022 Mustang GT non PP would just have whatever the base rear toe links and knuckle bushings are, and not the upgraded FPT ones? The older thread said that they would. That is where my confusion lies.

With all of the other BMR equipment I am installing, in your opinion, when I install the the FP Track shocks & struts would it be an injustice to not install the FP Track rear toe links and knuckle bushings parts? Would my base parts be good enough?

I would do it, you're already back there. Do it once, cry once.

As Dave said, install the bearings but I would just go with the J&M adjustable toe-links over the stock PP ones.
