I just installed the XP80 LED backup bulb from Diode Dynamics. I didn't really make note of the position of the bulb socket before removing and installing the LED bulb.
After I reinstalled the socket into the housing and turned clockwise it until it seemed to stop. I stuck my head under the fascia and noticed the blade of the socket is not pointing straight up/down (ie, 12 to 6 o'clock position), but is rather positioned between 11 and 5 o'clock.
I was wondering if someone could take a peek at theirs by sticking your head underneath the rear fascia so you can actually see the position of the socket blade (flashlight will help also). I'm not sure if it's supposed to turn clockwise all the way so the blade is pointing between the 12 to 6 o'clock position when fully tight & locked. I don't want to force it any more in case 11 to 5 o'clock is the fully locked position.
